Chamber Board and Partners Announce ‘Terre Haute Is All In’ Initiative, Web Site

Terre Haute, Ind. – Terre Haute is upping the ante on its involvement with a possible new casino in the area by announcing the “Terre Haute Is All In” initiative and web presence.

On Tuesday, the Chamber, along with the organization’s Advocacy Committee, Casino Task Force and Advocacy partner RJL Solutions, launched the site, www.terrehauteisallin.com.

Along with helpful information and statistics, the site asks community members to “sign up to support” the ongoing efforts to bring a casino to Terre Haute and West Central Indiana.

“The Chamber’s Board of Directors have been in discussions about this legislation for some time and have agreed that the proposed casino would offer new opportunities for casino tax revenue in Terre Haute and Vigo County,” says Chamber Vice President Kristin Craig. “Our Board of Directors, which represent dozens of different businesses in West Central Indiana, really believe this could be a win for our members and the entire business community.”

The public, community and business leaders are encouraged to visit the site to educate themselves on the initiative and “sign up to support” the continued movement.
