Happenings in Downtown Terre Haute

Featured Autumn Events

October 22, 2022: A Night at the Museum -- The Vigo County History Center is pleased to announce its new signature fundraiser and 100th Year Anniversary Celebration of the Vigo County Historical Society, “A Night at the Museum”.  Interactive exhibits will be spread across the History Center’s three floors, along with catering by Chef Kris Kraut at Federal Coffee + Fine Foods and cash bar by The Copper Bar. A program and map will lead visitors throughout the museum to experience local history in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Reserve your tickets here!

October 28, 2022: Haunted Haute -- Have a scary-fun time downtown for the annual Haunted Haute Trick-or-Treating! Sponsored by ISU Federal Credit Union, Taghleef, and Burger Chrysler Jeep. Monster Mash Dance Party by 100.7 MIX FM will also be there playing tunes. Enjoy shopping the Haunted Haute Vendor Market!  Play around in the Child's Play area! Trick-or-treating takes place from 6-9pm, with the "Witching Hour" from 9-10pm for Downtown drinks and eats.

October 29, 2022: Boos & Brews -- Join us for at the Zorah Shrine for a spook-tacular adult Halloween party featuring killer music and ghastly amounts of witch’s brew. Doors open at 6p and Tommy Kelly will be taking the stage at 7p, followed by the Ultimate Def Leppard Tribute, and headliner Absolute Queen (Queen Tribute) bringing down the (haunted) house shortly after. A full bar of drinks and potions will be available – if you dare!  Come in your best devilish disguise to celebrate the night in style! (Or, don’t… Costumes are welcome but not required for a ghostly good time.) Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 the day of the show, so be sure to snag your tickets early. Kids 12 and under are free.

November 24, 2022: Terre Haute Turkey Trot -- Come run, walk, and feed the hungry at the Terre Haute Turkey Trot! The Terre Haute Turkey Trot is a fun family friendly 5k race and 1 mile fun run in Downtown Terre Haute. Partial proceeds and all canned foods will be given to our local soup kitchens and food pantries so that they can help feed the hungry! So come burn the calories before you settle down for those delicious Thanksgiving meals and help those less fortunate than yourself have a great meal on Thanksgiving. We will deliver all donations to our local charities after the race. Register online HERE!
