Business: West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center
Tell us about your business and what you do.
I’m the Regional Director for the West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center. I have the pleasure of serving the region by providing one-on-one business counseling to help businesses grow and flourish, creating jobs in the Wabash Valley.
What do you serve as an Ambassador?
In my role I serve as a business advocate. I want to see what is best for small business in our region and the state of Indiana. I feel strongly that the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce is advocacy organization as well, working to improve the local business climate. By being an ambassador I’m able to serve the chamber to meet the needs of their clients. Whether it be visiting clients’ storefronts to show support and appreciation or volunteering at the annual meeting, I love serving as an ambassador. Ribbon cuttings are also a favorite, as an ambassador I basically get to serve as a welcoming committee to new businesses opening in Terre Haute. I love seeing the excitement of a new business owner and helping to garner local support for new businesses.
