A Message from Mayor Duke Bennett, City COVID-19 Update June 12, 2020

City of Terre Haute COVID-19 Update

Beginning today, we are now operating in Stage 4 of Governor Holcomb’s “Back on Track Indiana” pandemic reopening plan.  Here is the current plan for the City of Terre Haute:

  • June 15th –  All city facilities will remain operational but closed to general public access. Citizens will continue to do business with city departments via our web-site and by telephone. Note: In person appointments for critical issues can be made by contacting the appropriate department by phone to schedule. Any visitors (by appointment only) to a city facility will be required to wear a mask.
  • July 6th – Public access restrictions are lifted at all city facilities. We will resume normal business hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm each business day) with full access to all city buildings. All visitors to any city facility may be subject to screening before entry, must maintain social distancing and should wear a mask.

This updated schedule was created using the current guidelines of the Governor’s Executive Order and is subject to change.
