West Central Indiana Business Hub Reopens Business Assessment Survey

Terre Haute, Ind.  – The West Central Indiana Business Hub COVID-19 Response Team is reopening a business assessment survey related to COVID-19 recovery.

In April the “West Central Indiana Business Hub” and “COVID-19 Response Team” was launched with two main goals; to create a centralized response team to address questions from the business community and capture community data regarding specific concerns and financial loss.

Nearly five months later, the team is working to refresh data, assess the current and new needs of the business community and continue recovery efforts for the West Central Business community.

“Early on we had a great response for the business community on their needs and questions, but the work is far from finished,” Chamber of Commerce President Kristin Craig said. “We need to update information, learn more about the needs of local business and look at ways that the West Central Business Hub can assist. There’s strength in numbers.”

Made up of organizations that already work with the business community, the group includes the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center, Indiana State University – Business Engagement Center, Launch Terre Haute, West Central Indiana Economic Development District, City of Terre Haute, RJL Solutions (Advocacy Partner), Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation and Work One.

Business leaders, managers and decision makers are asked to complete an online assessment; click here. Not only will the data collected be used to center in on the greatest current needs of the business community, but individual questions and requests will be addressed by members of the Response Team. Services are available to any business in the six-county West Central Indiana region, although this is geared specifically towards small businesses, those with less than 500

The assessment is currently available online. Anyone with questions can also call the Chamber office, (812) 232-2391.
