Early Voting Kicks Off in Vigo County

All Vigo County Registered Voters Can Vote in Casino Referendum

Terre Haute, IN – Registered voters in Vigo County can begin voting tomorrow to welcome the construction of a casino to Terre Haute.

Two vote center locations in Terre Haute will be open for early voting beginning Tuesday, Oct. 8th through Election Day.

The Vote Yes on #1 campaign is reminding residents that all registered voters in Vigo County can vote in the casino referendum. Today, Oct. 7th, is the last day to register to vote.

“Bringing a casino to Vigo County has the potential to transform our community. A casino will bring hundreds of jobs, millions of dollars in investment and economic development, increased tourism and nearly half a million dollars a year for Vigo County schools,” said John Collett, Chair of the Advance West Central Indiana PAC. “This will be a game changer for our region, and we need everyone to get to the polls and Vote Yes on #1.”

Vigo County voters can begin voting tomorrow Oct. 8th through Election Day at the following vote center locations:

Vigo County Annex

Terre Haute, IN 47807

M-F 8AM to 4PM

Honey Creek Mall

3401 South U.S. Highway 41

Terre Haute, IN 47802

M-F 10AM to 6PM

Voters can visit IndianaVoters.in.gov to confirm or update their registration by midnight tonight.
