Pence To Split Time Between Terre Haute and Clinton In Regional Partnership

Clinton, IN – No stranger to small business and community efforts, Downtown Terre Haute Coordinator
Stephanie Pence will add additional responsibilities to West Central Indiana, as she signs on to serve as
the part-time coordinator for Rediscover Clinton.

The non-profit organization was founded in 2015 to support the preservation of the City of Clinton’s rich
heritage while enhancing economic growth, quality of life, social and economic opportunities.
“Rediscover Clinton is a great organization; with Stephanie’s help and a more concerted effort I believe
we can move Clinton forward,” says Rediscover Clinton board member and Vermillion County Economic
Development Director, Dylan Riggen. “We have a small but mighty group that genuinely cares about
advancing Clinton.”

Pence began working with the organization beginning March 1, 2019. Under the role she will be
responsible for specific areas of focus, along with coordinating community engagement and building a
strong social media presence for the group. Pence will work to enhance communications and awareness
of small business and quality-of-life attractions in the area, promote the annual Taste of Clinton event
and encourage volunteer opportunities.

“I really look at this position with Rediscover Clinton as an extension of what we’re doing with
Downtown Terre Haute,” says Rediscover Clinton board member and Terre Haute Chamber of
Commerce Vice President, Kristin Craig. “There have been some great projects that have really worked
and others that haven’t; Stephanie will bring that knowledge. Her work with The Indiana Office of
Community and Rural Affairs for the past year will also help to provide extremely important contacts
and connections that can only help as we work to achieve a better community.”
