Tell us about your business and what you do.
Zen Cat Yoga is a small yoga studio in Terre Haute. It is located in Ellis Plaza on the south end of Terre Haute. A variety of yoga classes are offered in an intimate setting for all levels. Class sizes are small, allowing for more specialized attention. Special workshops/events are offered throughout the year. Additionally, Zen Cat Yoga offers fun boutique items: yoga clothing made in the US, local handcrafted jewelry, wall art, essential oils, and soaps. You can also reserve the Zen Cat creative space for a special event.
Do you have any advice for someone starting their own business?
Hang in there! Running your own business takes a lot of time and effort. There are many days when you want to give up, but building your own brand doesn’t happen overnight! They say patience is a virtue, and as a small business owner, this is a trait I am learning on a daily basis. There are good days and bad days, but through it all, you have to just take a deep breath and have patience with the process and yourself.
