As the holiday season creeps in bringing along both excitement and stress and goals for the new year along with bad eating, one business in the Wabash Valley is offering solutions to health issues and inspiration for those wanting to make good choices in 2016.
AFC Essentials with Laura is a Terre Haute based business, owned and operated by Laura Hudson.
“When I started working with the oils I was amazed at how much I loved them,” Hudson explains. “I found that sharing and selling doTERRA was more rewarding them just working one on one with people, I still do that work too, but it’s not as often as what I do with oils.”
Hudson, a native of Terre Haute is an AADP Certified Health Coach and Essential Oil Advocate.
She started in the business as a health coach in 2010, but soon found there were additional ways to encourage healthy living among her clients. She began working with doTERRA, a Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils company and launched AFC Essential Oils in 2013.
Not only does Hudson distribute oils to customers, but she teaches classes about the oils all over the country and is a Platinum rank within doTERRA.
She says the success of her business is amazing, but it’s nothing compared to the great feeling of helping customers feel their very best and achieve their health goals.
“I like to think that I empower people,” she says with a smile. “That is amazing. Knowing that I can take care of my family and I don’t have to depend on someone else is really great. There are so many things that can cause negative side effects but with essential oils if used properly there aren’t negative side effects and that is pretty awesome. It’s priceless to be able to take care of yourself and your family”
