Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting Award Nominations Available
The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce is now accepting award nominations for the 2016 Annual Meeting.
The five awards will be presented at the Chamber’s 103rd Annual Meeting on Wednesday, August 24.
Awards are presented annually during the Annual Meeting. The five awards include Young Leader of the Year, Athena Award, Vision: A Level Above, Business of the Year and Community Health and Wellness Champion.
Award nomination forms can be found at the Chamber of Commerce web site and must be submitted by Thursday, June 30.
“The Annual Meeting is no doubt our biggest event of the year and one that we are proud to say brings together hundreds of business leaders from the Wabash Valley,” says Chamber Vice President Kristin Craig. “In addition to our keynote speaker the awards are one of the highlights of the evening. It’s wonderful to be able to recognize the individuals and people doing great things within their business and the community in general.”
The 103rd Annual Meeting will feature Mark Miles, the CEO of Hulman & Company, speaking on the event’s theme “What’s Your Legacy”. As the head of one of the state’s most historic businesses, Miles will share his success stories, along with giving inspiration to local business leaders.
