Wabash Valley Health Center Enrollment Services

Wabash Valley Health Center Enrollment Services

Employees with no health insurance? We can help!

As a community health center we offer enrollment services. Through this service we employ licensed Navigators and Certified Application Counselors. Their role is to help individuals and families navigate the world of health insurance programs.

A Navigator in the state of Indiana is licensed through the Indiana Department of Insurance to provide free, unbiased application assistance for Indiana Health Coverage Programs such as the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), Hoosier Healthwise, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

A Certified Application Counselor (CAC) is certified through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) to provide free, unbiased application assistance on the ACA/Federal Health Insurance Marketplace.

Our goal is to help individuals in our community access healthcare. A large portion of that is to connecting them with health insurance and healthcare that is affordable. We find many individuals and families are not aware of the health insurance available to them and other healthcare services at little to no cost. We can be a resource to employers (who are not able to provide health insurance to their employees)  by providing enrollment services and educating employees about their options. We can visit the employer and provide educational sessions for employees or individuals can meet with a Navigator here at the health center. Either way this is a FREE service.
