The Country Club of Terre Haute Names a New Head Golf Professional

The Board of Directors of the Country Club of Terre Haute announced the hiring of Mr. Christopher Veach, PGA, as their new head golf professional. Veach is a Class “A” PGA member and part of only 2% of the PGA professionals certified in golf operations.

“The Country Club of Terre Haute has a proud history as one of the premier country clubs in the state of Indiana. I am very excited about the opportunity as head golf professional to continue the tradition and expand on the foundation of this outstanding club.” Veach said.

Veach comes to CCTH after assistant pro stints at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, IN, Highland Golf & Country Club and Old Oakland Country Club in Indianapolis. Since 2013, he has been the head golf professional at Brookshire Golf Club in Carmel, IN.

Veach, at Terre Haute native, is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. Chris and his wife Katie will be coming to Terre Haute later this month.

The Country Club of Terre Haute is a private club located in the Allendale community in south-central Vigo County. The club offers one of the most excellent 18-hole layouts in the area. The course is a William Diddle design, a founding member of the American Society of Golf Architects, on what was once the Ijams property. The club hosted the 1931 and 1950 Indiana Open Golf Championships along with the Indiana Women’s Golf Association State
Amateur Championship in 2016.
