Congratulations and welcome to Indiana! Tell us more about Tech Doc’s, we know you’re not a new business, but new to the area.
Thank you! Yes, we already have a successful location in Paris, IL, which opened in March 2013. Founder and owner Matt Jackson says he always had a skill for fixing computers and electronics. Jackson started the business part time, doing repairs and business about 3-4 hours a day. In 2016, Jackson was able to pursue the business full time and left his job at the time to go out on his own.
In November 2020 Jackson was presented the opportunity to buy out Terre Haute’s Quality PC and take ownership.
“I had always talked about opening a shop in Terre Haute and this was my sign,” Jackson says. “So I went forward and it seems to be taking off well. We work on computers, tablets, cell phones, TVs and more!”
Adds Jackson, “We are anxious to work with the Terre Haute area and are very well established in Paris, IL. We back all of our work by warranties and stand behind everything we do.”
What makes you excited or passionate about your business?
“My goal was to open a one stop shop for technology. This focus was on everyday electronics we use for both personal and business. I wanted to open a business that could cater to ALL electronics,” Jackson explains. “If you have a computer issue from software, hardware, to cosmetic repairs or if your cell phone screen breaks, we have all of those issues covered. If the kid’s game consoles; Microsoft XBOX, Playstation, hand held game systems has an issue, we have them covered. If someone’s computer has an issue, we have it covered. If someone has a broken tablet, TV, needs a website designed or hosted, we have it covered. Need a service call at your house or business? We do onsite repair. We cover all bases!”
