Larry Yargus Enterprises Purchases Terre Haute-based B&S Plumbing and Heating Incorporated

TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA — Larry Yargus Enterprises of Marshall, Ill., has purchased B&S Plumbing and Heating Incorporated, a regional Plumbing and Heating services company with corporate offices in Terre Haute, Ind. The purchase was completed on January 4, 2022.

Larry Yargus Enterprises owns Central State Construction, an electrical contractor in Marshall, Illinois and Hannig Construction, a regional commercial and industrial construction company in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Larry Yargus, owner of Larry Yargus Enterprises, said, “We are exited to have B & S Plumbing and Heating as part of our suite of companies serving the home and commercial construction industry in the Midwest Region. With the purchase of B & S Plumbing we have created a synergy of businesses to better position us for commercial construction opportunities in the Midwest.

Bill and Sally Stewart previously owned B & S Plumbing and Heating. The company was incorporated in 1983 and has operated as a plumbing and heating contractor in Terre Haute, Indiana. It has 30 employees.

We are excited for the opportunities our employees will have with being part of the Larry Yargus Enterprises team. This purchase will be a positive for our customers and the community.

Yargus will appoint Jack Acord as president of B & S Plumbing and Heating, along with overseeing Central State Construction and Hannig Construction. Acord has been in the construction business since 1968, most recently as Senior Project Executive for Gilbane Building Company, where he managed large scale manufacturing facilities and high-end commercial buildings throughout the United States and three international projects.
