To learn more about Jared, read the announcement of his hiring or read below for more information on the future of Launch.
 Hello there!
My name is Jared Ell and I’m excited to start work as the new Director for Launch Terre Haute and West Central Indiana Business Hub! Before joining the Chamber, I worked as the Assistant Director for Marketing Strategy in Residential Life at Indiana State University. I’ve been quite involved with the Chamber through Leadership Connect of West Central Indiana as the Co-Chair, and Downtown Terre Haute.
I’ve also watched (quite literally from across the street) as Launch Terre Haute was built into a community of entrepreneurs and problem solvers that have such a love for our region. I’m excited to take what we’ve already built and bring it to the next level!
I believe we can build Launch Terre Haute into a more thriving hub of new business. This can be a place where members aren’t afraid to take chances, where entrepreneurs can find “their people” and where new business owners can get support that will help them build something beautiful right here in the Wabash Valley. This can be a place where young professionals cut their teeth trying new and innovative ideas. It can be a place that cultivates creative problem solvers, not simply focused on finding new markets, but solving new problems. I don’t believe we will have a monopoly on creativity in the Wabash Valley, but we will certainly be a market leader.
Personally I place great importance on listening. I want to hear from our members. I’ve spent some time in my off hours coming to Launch and getting to know a few of our members already, but now that I’m “officially” in my office, my door is open. I want to learn about your dreams, your businesses, and your hopes for Launch.  I want to learn about our collective strengths so we can leverage them, and I want to know what opportunities you see, and how we can help you meet them.
For anyone who hasn’t joined Launch or the Chamber yet, now is the time to get in on the ground level. Come join us and help us write the next chapter in the Wabash Valley. If you’d like to chat about what that next chapter looks like, shoot me an email, give me a call, or we can meet in person. I know a great co-working space we can meet at!
