The West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center program provides Entrepreneurial Assessment, Free One-On-One Counseling, Small Business Development Products, Pre-Business and Business Planning workshops for those individuals who want general information on starting a business, or who are in the initial start-up phase. For over 20 years, the West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center has been assisting small businesses throughout our region 6 counties (Clay, Clarke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo) as part of the Indiana Small Business Development Center Network.
The SBDC is a partnership program by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Indiana State University College of Business. Today, there are over 1,400 SBDCs throughout the United States and U.S. territories to assist over 25 million U.S. small businesses through various partnerships.
Housed in Indiana State University's College of Business, the West Central Indiana SBDC is one of 11 SBDC centers in the state serving the needs of Hoosier entrepreneurs.
