Programs and Events

Did you know the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce hosts over 150 events annually? Chamber programs and events provide an unique opportunity for members to learn from prominent business and government leaders, gain insight into issues affecting the Wabash Valley economy, and, best of all, create opportunities to network with fellow business professionals.

By offering a wide variety of programs, the Chamber provides an opportunity for all business professionals to participate. In addition to high-level speaking programs, Chamber members can participate in issues-based roundtables, open networking sessions, and formal awards and recognition ceremonies. Some of our major annual events are listed below:

  • Groundhog Day Economic Forecast. By offering predictions and comments from a panel of business leaders and economists, this event has gained a reputation as the area’s leading business forecast.

  • Annual Meeting. Keynote speakers and prestigious business award presentations combine to create the area’s largest business networking event.

  • “Best of the Best” Week. Designed to break out of traditional molds, this week proudly offers members a week of true business to business opportunities. The schedule includes a Business Awards Luncheon, CEO Panel Discussion and Best of the Best Business Expo.

  • Chamber Classic Golf Outing. We combine one of the area’s best golf courses, networking with business professionals and the opportunity to gain name recognition into one event at this annual golf outing.

  • Business After Hours. A unique opportunity, providing Chamber members with the opportunity to make valuable business contacts in a casual, relaxed environment. Business professionals, owners and entrepreneurs can meet potential customers and increase referral networks all while gaining visibility and name recognition.

  • New Member Receptions. Hosted by the Ambassadors, the Chamber’s newest members are invited to attend a casual, relaxed networking event where they will have a chance to meet with the Chamber leadership.

  • Local Government Officials Reception. An opportunity to recognize and thank local government officials from the City of Terre Haute, Vigo County and the Vigo County School Corporation, as well as our Wabash Valley delegation to the Indiana General Assembly. The event also provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen and build new partnerships between members of the business community and local government officials.

  • Third House Sessions. Programs that provide a forum for members to meet with their local state legislators to discuss topics being addressed during the current session of the Indiana General Assembly.

  • Washington D.C. Fly-In. An opportunity to meet with the members of the Indiana Congressional delegation and their staffs to discuss important local issues affecting business and community development.

  • Legislative Preview and Review. Events provide a discussion of important business issues to be addressed during the upcoming session of the Indiana Legislature and analyze the results of the Legislative session from a business perspective.
