Tell us about your business and what you do.
Wright’s Pool Service is a family owned business that has been in the Wabash valley for 17 years. When we started out in the swimming pool business we were just doing basic cleaning and service. Throughout the years, we began to expand our services to liner replacements and over the past 10 years we have moved to new pool installs. Our business has grown 10 fold in the last several years. We pride ourselves on making backyard dreams come true. From above ground to in-ground we install and service all.
Do you have any advice for someone starting their own business?
The biggest piece of advice for someone starting their own business would be to start out small and comfortable. Take baby steps and remember your passion for why you do what you do. Support other small business owners and don’t be afraid to seek advice from similar businesses along the way. Get to know your community and look forward to increasing the positive and social impacts that your unique business has to offer. Owning a small business takes a lot of time and hard work but it’s worth it for the growth of your community.
