Business– The Ohio Building

Tell us about your business and what you do.

The Ohio Building’s mission is to provide a first class meeting and banquet facility to the residents of the Wabash Valley.  The Ohio Building can host anywhere from 50-300 people and host many types of events.  We are most known for wedding receptions, but can also accommodate business meetings, class reunions, birthday parties, and baby showers.

I work as the Event Coordinator, so I assist in the planning process and on the day of your event to make sure all goes well!

We also own/manage the adjacent parking garage, Skygarden, and can offer monthly passes to anyone in the downtown area!

Why do you serve as an Ambassador?

Being an Ambassador has helped me to network and get to know people I may not have known before! I love going to ribbon cuttings and getting to see new business brought into Terre Haute and I enjoy wishing those individuals a congratulations on taking the leap of opening a new business.  I feel that being an Ambassador shows the community and its businesses the support we all sometimes need!
