It’s summer in Indiana which means it’s hot, humid and all around miserable at times.
But an oasis of goodness is about to open in Downtown Terre Haute; Aracari Kitchen.
According to the restaurant’s owner Jennifer Hale, the eatery will serve inspired, locally sourced food and drinks to the Terre Haute community.
Specialties include gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, vegetarian, and raw dishes; as well as cold-pressed juice, pour over coffee, and fair trade tea.
The Chamber’s Membership Director Katie Shane stopped in for an early look before the restaurant’s opening the weekend of July 22. Not only did Katie sample some of the delicious burritos, but fell in love with the pour over coffee, a special blend made by Terre Haute’s Rex Roasting Company.
