Tell us about your business.

After retiring from the world of corporate finance after 27 years, I had a vision to begin a business that could provide a variety of services and rentals to fit the wedding and event business in the Wabash Valley. As a start-up business I was hoping to be part of 30 to 40 events per year. That was 18 years ago and we now provide rentals and services to over 250 weddings and events annually.

Why do you serve as an Ambassador?

When I opened Simple to Elegant I knew that I needed to make it part of the business community. I have been an active member since joining through committees and board involvement. In 2014 I was humbled to serve as the Board of Director Chair and continue to serve on the Board as well as the Ambassador Chair and the Annual Meeting Committee. The Chamber has supported my business as it has grown and I have supported the mission of our Chamber of Commerce – it has been a great partnership!
