If you’re anything like us, we are counting down the days to the opening of the new location of J. Fords at 129 S 7th Street.
Scheduled to reopen at the downtown location on Tuesday, May 3 the restaurant will not only be housed in the new spot, but will offer new features including menu items, seating and an expanded bar area.
J Fords will host an open house for the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce on May 19 at 4pm.
We had the chance to pop in late last week to see the progress.
Jeff and Kelly Ford were quick to point out their HUGE kitchen, one the Jeff designed himself and Kelly described as his “dream kitchen”.
A dream for many of the J Fords customers is the enormous and impressive wine selection. Kelly, a level I Sommelier, was busy with staff organizing the bottles during our visit.
The bar isn’t complete yet, but it is close.
The restaurant is taking reservations currently for the new location.
