The Gathering

The Gathering is a brand new after school opportunity for Terre Haute North High School students beginning on Tuesday, January 26, from 3:15 – 5:30 pm, at the Northside Community Church. At the end of the school day, students are invited to go across the street to the church (located on the southeast corner of Fruitridge and Maple at 1075 N. Fruitridge Ave.). The church will provide some snacks, coffee/drinks, a place to do homework, space to work on school projects, free wifi, and a safe, clean environment to hang out and make new friends.

Caring adults from the church will be available to talk to and answer questions. Students from Indiana State University will be present for tutoring and to help with homework questions. For more information, please contact the church at 812-232-2478, at, or pastor Clark Cowden at

The Fifth Quarter

This event is for high school students and will begin at the conclusion of the North High School basketball game across the street at the school. When the game is over, students are invited to come across the street to the church where the free event will provide food, games, prizes, music, some short speakers, and a safe and fun place to hang out after the game.
